Mary entered the convent on September 17, 1984. She took formation classes and began to learn the life of a sister.
On March 23, 1985, Mary became known as Sr. Mary and spent the next year studying the Marian Sisters' Constitutions and learning about the vows.
On April 5, 1986, Sr. Mary traded in her white veil for a gray veil as she professed the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.
Sr. Mary enjoyed a Sunday afternoon visit with her family and niece.
At the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, Sr. Mary became a bride of Christ forever on August 27, 1991.
Sr. Mary now works for the Diocese of Lincoln as a Technology Unitization Specialist.
