The Marian Sisters are a community dedicated to serving God and the church in the Diocese of Lincoln.  We serve in various apostolates of education, health care, and social work.  Doing God's will joyfully we seek to imitate Mary and St. Francis in all we do.
    Our heritage stems from the Mercy Sisters of St. Francis in the Czech Republic.  Our foundresses, Sr. Marta and Sr. Theresa fled their country during the communist regime and trusted that God would guide and protect them.  Thus they found themselves in the heart of the United States in the Diocese of Lincoln.
